Vibrant Women Leaders
Indigenous women leaders across Africa are developed in skills (self, ministry, leadership), spiritual vitality, sustainability & leading out of their identity in Christ. They are equipped to focus on fruitfulness & multiplication in all that they do. Creating space to intentionally invest into the women leaders is critical for their long term sustainability in the ministry. Their own vibrancy is then multiplied into their teams and the women they are reaching out to.
$25,000 - Sponsor all or part of the 2025 Women Leaders Gathering, where 20 WIA leaders from across Africa will gather for a week focussed on their personal spiritual revival as well as equipping for ministry. This gathering is an impact catalyst for their leadership, teams & ministries. (August 2025)
$3,000 - Sponsor the annual Women’s Retreat where all women serving with OM in Africa are invited together for a day of blessing, fellowship, spiritual equipping & re-energizing to go back out and continue serving through their respective ministries. 150 women are expected to attend! (August 2025)
Engaging in Community
Women leaders and teams are engaging with the vulnerable, marginalized and least-reached women their community through various initiatives. Through skills training centres and groups, women are equipped with skills like sewing, beading, catering, shoe making, literacy, micro-business and gardening. Through Discovery Bible Study they also learn what it means to follow Jesus and how to share what they are learning with other women in their community. Over time, these groups of women become vibrant and in turn impact the communities around them.
$500 - Gift a sewing machine & materials to a skills centre in Ghana, Senegal, Mali, Niger, Chad, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Zambia, Lake Tanganyika, Mozambique or Zimbabwe
$10,000 - Build a Tabitha skills centre in Mpulungu, a community in northern Zambia on the shore of Lake Tanganyika
$30 - Gift an audio Bible to an illiterate woman
$1,500 - Gift a motorbike to the women’s group in Mali, to make it easier for them to visit far away villages
$150 - Support one micro-business training for a group of 15 women
$250 - Provide relief of school fees for girls in rural communities that are vulnerable to dropping out of school and falling pregnant
Women’s DMM Training
Christian women are taken through an intensive DMM (disciple making movement) training, where they discover their identity as a woman in God’s mission, learn how to practically share God’s love with women in their communities, start Discovery Bible Study groups that multiply, and equip marginalized women with various practical skills. Coaching and follow up (online + onsite) continues after the training. These trainings equip and motivate indigenous women to form teams that are reaching out to the vulnerable in their communities.
$5,000 - Sponsor a training & local follow-up trips in Senegal
$3,000 - Sponsor a training & follow-up trips in sub-Saharan Africa (Tanzania, Zambia, DRC, Malawi, Botswana)
$250 - Support one of our trainers with a one-time or monthly gift. All of our team members raise their own financial support. Your gift will help enable them to remain effective in the work they are doing.
Indigenous Workers
Each country we serve in has local women that are trained and overseeing the work on the ground. They are dedicated to serving God no matter the cost. As a faith based organization, all workers are required to raise their own financial support. A monthly commitment or one time gift of any amount would go a long way!

$300- Gift a new cell phone to a woman leader so she is able to connect with her team and also attend online Women of Impact training calls

We are truly thankful for each and every gift that enabled us to impact 770 women and girls from 55+ different communities across 16 countries in 2024! We have been a catalyst for 35 indigenous women leaders that are engaging deeply with the vulnerable and least-reached women, as well as mobilizing Christian women to join the mission. We estimate that at least 75 new discovery Bible groups have been started through these women, with some of them now multiplied to the 2nd generation.
